Welcome to the Edinburgh Wine School. We offer wine courses, wine and food matching courses and wine tastings for everyone from the absolute beginner learning purely for pleasure to those with a career based interest. Our courses are informative, informal and relaxed but above all they are fun.
The wine tutor is an approved wine educator for the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and also an official Sherry Educator approved by the Consejo Regulador in Jerez Spain.

We offer courses from foundation through to advanced level for the professional or to individuals looking for a change of career. Packages are available to take you from beginner through to advanced level in under one year. The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) was founded in 1969 to provide high quality education and training in wines and spirits. Since then, WSET has grown into the foremost international body in the field of wines and spirits education, with a suite of sought-after qualifications.
The upcoming event for the Festive Season is: Wine in The City
These wine tasting events will take place in the historic building of the Wee Windaes Restaurant, High Street, Royal Mile, Edinburgh. Each wine tasting will either be accompanied by a selection of Ian Mellis cheese or a meal except in the case of our Champagne & Chocolate tasting and our Champagne & Sushi tasting.
